THIS HOME.

London 2016

being outside observers of our own lives, living in a compromised reality to what we had hoped for.
Immigrants, trying to become citizens, trying to find home again.
Citizens trying to become inhabitants, trying to fit in.
Roof above our heads but we feel homeless. Isolated from ourselves and the dreams of big opportunities are long forgotten.
People around us we call friends, family in fact, real family is falling apart, too far away to re-connect again or they are too close to get a sense of ourselves.

We live in a city, we hoped for change.
We changed our lives, yet nothing has changed.
The city has saved us but our souls are still lost.
Still looking for peace, searching cure for loneliness.
